Video: Greeley Lecture: Reconciling the Loss of Indigenous Eden
At this year’s Greeley Lecture, Blair Stonechild (First Nations University of Canada) reflected on the concept of an “Indigenous Eden,” its loss, and how processes of Truth and Reconciliation can help bridge perspectives and point toward more just futures. Drawing on five decades of research with Indigenous Elders, his talk engaged themes from his trilogy on Indigenous spirituality.
Blair Stonechild, a member of the Muscowpetung Saulteaux First Nation and a survivor of the Qu’Appelle Indian Residential School, is a longtime scholar and educator whose work spans Indigenous history, education, and spirituality.
This event was co-sponsored by the Harvard University Native American Program (HUNAP).
