The AME offers a collection of primary source accounts of transcendent experiences – visions, out-of-body experiences, revelations, apotheosis, and much else – from antiquity to the present, and from major world religions to indigenous and new age communities. These primary accounts are balanced with long-form articles that contextualize and analyze the role of extraordinary experiences in particular geographies, traditions, and eras. We will be launching the AME website in early in 2026.
