Katie Clem is an MDiv candidate at Harvard Divinity School devoted to bridging the ineffable power of dance with the rich language of the Christian tradition. Before coming to Harvard Divinity School, she graduated as valedictorian of Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, where she pursued interdisciplinary, self-designed studies in dance, neuroscience, psychology, and religious studies. She is passionate about public humanities, with a particular interest in telling the untold stories of women’s artistic and intellectual histories. Her academic work is deeply enriched by her life as a ballet dancer, teacher, and choreographer.
