Gosia Sklodowska serves as Executive Director of the Center for the Study of World Religions, working with Prof. Charles M. Stang on the strategic planning and implementation of the Center’s mission and goals. She oversees the Center’s administrative and operational portfolio, including public programming and events, publications, communications, budget and business processes, human resources, academic affairs, sponsored research administration, and infrastructure management.

Her digital humanities research focuses on making primary sources more accessible to scholars and the broader public through open-access platforms. Her current projects highlight the [mystical and theosophic works](https://mysticalscriptures.com/) that influenced the American Transcendentalists and develop a [public platform for the scholarly transcription of Margaret Fuller’s manuscripts](https://digitalfuller.org) from Harvard’s Houghton Library and Boston Public Library collections.

Gosia conceived and initiated several key programs and initiatives for the Center, including the Research Reflections series, the Transcendentalism Residencies program, and the psychedelic spiritual care research programming, which has included a comprehensive academic study and report as well as workshops for facilitators in medical, religious, and recreational settings.

She serves as Editor-in-Chief for the Center's annual publication [*Theosis*](https://cswr.hds.harvard.edu/publications/theosis-2024-2025) and co-edited the conference anthology "[The Teachings and Legacy of G.I. Gurdjieff](https://cswr.hds.harvard.edu/publications/gurdjieff)" with Prof. Carole Cusack.

Gosia holds MA degrees in French Philology from the University of Warsaw and in Environmental Management from Harvard University, as well as a Diplôme d’Études Approfondies in Sociology of Religion/Gender Studies from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales in France. Her professional background spans sustainability, energy management, behavioral change, and organizational leadership, building on earlier work in humanitarian, social, and environmental nonprofits.

Gosia joined CSWR in 2023, following a 15+ year career at Harvard, where she led administrative operations for the Center for Green Buildings and Cities at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and oversaw sustainability and greenhouse gas reduction efforts across residential, laboratory, and office buildings at Harvard College, the Longwood campus, and the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.
