Byron joined the CSWR in July 2019. He is a recent graduate from Harvard Divinity School with an MTS in Hebrew Bible, and a focus on Biblical poetry. He earned his bachelor’s degree in music from The University of Chicago, as well as an MFA in Creative Writing from NYU’s Writers’ Workshop in Paris. From 2017-2019 he was the founding editor of Peripheries, CSWR’s Literary Journal. His poetry has appeared in Colorado Review and Narrative Magazine. Before coming to HDS, he worked as an acupuncturist in San Francisco.
