Alisa Lozhkina is an art historian, curator, and a PhD candidate in Comparative History at Central European University. Her current research is focused on the role of psychedelics in Ukrainian art community after the collapse of the USSR. Lozhkina was the editor in chief of Art\_Ukraine magazine and served as a deputy director and chief curator of Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv. Lozhkina has curated exhibitions in Ukrainian and international museums and authored several books. In 2024 her book Art in Ukraine was published by Thames &amp; Hudson as a part of iconic World of Art series. She is also an artist.
