A panel discussion on the book [The Arts of Contemplative Care: Pioneering Voices in Buddhist Chaplaincy & Pastoral Work](http://www.wisdompubs.org/book/arts-contemplative-care), coedited by HDS's [Cheryl A. Giles](http://www.hds.harvard.edu/people/cheryl-a-giles), Francis Greenwood Peabody Professor of the Practice in Pastoral Care and Counseling, and [Willa B. Miller](http://www.naturaldharma.org/about-us/teachers/lama-willa-miller/), PhD candidate in the Study of Religion at Harvard University.

The event featured two respondents:​ Harrison Blum, recent HDS MDiv graduate and Community Dharma Leader in the Insight Meditation tradition, and [John Makransky](http://www.bc.edu/schools/cas/theology/faculty/jmakransky.html), Associate Professor at Boston College.
