 On March 26, the Center for the Study of World Religions at HDS sponsored a discussion on *The Church in the Long Eighteenth Century: The I.B. Tauris History of the Christian Church*, a recent publication by HDS professor [David N. Hempton](http://hds.harvard.edu/people/david-n-hempton). Discussants of the book were [Mark U. Edwards, Jr.](https://wp.stolaf.edu/president/past-presidents/edwards/), Advisory Member of the Faculty of Divinity and senior adviser to the Dean at HDS.
